I created Purposeful Design Coaching to help women design lives that reflect their values and ignite their purpose. As a wife and mother, I understand the joy of giving deeply to others—and the importance of staying true to yourself along the way. Inspired by remarkable women who taught me to stand tall, I’ve learned that throughout life, we always hold the power to chart new paths and begin new chapters.

As a retired DoD Senior Executive in Washington D.C., I spent my 35+ year career leading complex organizations, shaping strategy, and mentoring rising leaders. Those experiences reaffirmed a truth I now bring to my coaching: lasting success begins with clarity of purpose and courage to grow through change.

Teaching has also been one of my greatest joys. As a professor of Business Management, I was privileged to mentor future leaders to step forward with confidence, authenticity, and heart.

This past year, my daughter and I crossed the finish line of the Army Ten-Miler, an unforgettable experience that tested my endurance and celebrated our perseverance. Here's to many more miles ahead!

Through every chapter of my life—raising a family, building careers, and embracing new adventures—my unwavering support and partnership with my husband have been a constant source of strength and joy. And, of course, I can't forget our pup, Jasper—aka chief napper and snack thief!

I love bringing people together. Hosting allows me to celebrate life’s milestones and build a sense of community. This past summer, we had family and friends out to our home in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Picture golden sunsets on the Great Wicomico River, all-you-can-eat crabs, and nonstop laughs.

This past year, I ventured to France’s wine region, soaked up some rays on the beaches of Honolulu, and ate my way across Italy. Next up: I'll be traveling to Portugal and Spain. It’s less about passport stamps and all about making memories with family and friends.
